Jenna was brought up in a religious family and she got her religious initiation(bar mitzvah) while still living in the Carribean Islands. She then proceeded to Binghamton University from where she graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French. Jenna Wolfe started her television career as an intern on NBC’s . In her early television broadcasting career she worked for such stations as WUHF-TV which is based in Rochester in the state of New York and WICZ-TV an affiliate of FOX based in Binghamton, New York. Jenna Wolfe has also had a stint with the Madison Square Garden Network. In an exclusive interview with People magazine Wolfe explains why she chose now to come out, she says, “This is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to us, but I don’t want to bring my daughter into a world where I’m not comfortable telling everyone who I am and who her mother is.” The couple goes on to say that they do plan to marry in the future, they both reside in New York where gay marriage is legal, and they are excited for their baby girl to arrive. Wolfe will begin blogging about her pregnancy and is sure to share her journey in her role on the Today Show.
